Worst Shot you've ever seen ??
Hiya Guys
Ok I thought I'd just lighten the conversation a little and ask you all whats either the worst shot(s) you have ever done or seen......
For me last year I seen this guy hit three balls out of bounds off the tee then top his forth about 50yards after which he shouted out F***** Hell and slam his driver into the ground, to top it all off he walked back to his trolley and kicked it over .........hope that guy dont read this on here but mate you were well funny !!! lol

Wasn't there an opening tee shot at helidon, that might make it as a worse shot ever?

The worst series of shots I have been present at (not seen) were my opening four shots at GST Hellidon Lakes. The opening hole, a short par 4, had a temporary green, making it even shorter, about 200 yards. I took 3 shots to get 100 yards and then hit my fourth into the pond!
Obviously, this must have been a problem with my clubs and so I have swapped my Wilson Deep Red game improvement irons for some Titleist forged irons. Big improvement!
cheers, JD

Yes the pressures of competitive golf.
I once went for a days golf a Belton Woods in Grantham with my former work colleagues and the day was kindly paid for by our boss who took 12 of us out for the day.
First to tee off was the boss playing off 19 who had become a very keen and competitive golfer in 12 months. Needless to say the shot didn't go well and the ball was skyed 150 yards in the air and landed 5 foot in front of him, similar to Hellidon
Worse thing was the 11 of us daren't say anything and just stood there holding back the laughs.

Far too many to mention...
but one of my own 'favourite' worst shots was a 3 wood tee'd to high that somehow i got underneath and the ball went backwards over my head and into the driving range behind. Thankfully only my mate saw it. In fact it was him who told me as i hadn't a clue where it had gone!
I couldn't repeat that if i tried from now until i was too old to swing a club...

Not sure if this would class as 'the worst shot' ever but it certainly could have been the most expensive shot ever.
I was playing at Druids Heath with 2 other friends when one of the 2 ball in front of us collapsed & had a stroke, after a lot of'drama' the red cross helicopter landed on the 15th fairway to assist. As we couldn't do anymore we carried on. The 16th tee is parallel to the 15th green & one of our players had been shanking his tee shots all day...This was no different on this tee, his shot went straight towards the windscreen of the helicopter about 50yds away as we all waited for the smashing sound the ball luckily caught a branch & landed 5ft away from the helicopter!!
The first aiders almost had another 3 people to carry off!!!!

i would have paid to see that ball hit the chopper (hope the poor guy who had a stroke was and is ok).

What made it even funnier was the chap who had the stroke took his shot (duffed it) put his club back in his bag & then fell backwards, I thought he was mucking around because he had duffed his shot so I shouted "It wasn't that bad mate" & then realised something more severe had happened when his playing partner shouted for help!!!!!
I did hear that he made a full recovery & is back playing.
Thinking about it there are loads of jokes you could make about this "penalty STROKE, STROKE play etc etc

I know someone who will remain nameless in case the car owners are on this forum who put 3 into the carpark of the 1st tee at Romford golf course.
Oh and Si who some of you know missed a 2" putt last week, apparently there was a freak wormhole / vortex type thingy just in front of the hole
