My Golf Swing
Ok, just got back from the in-laws in Spain and managed to get two rounds of Golf in with the father in-law.
Played at the La Marquesa la Quesada which was not very demanding but a lovely setting and nice striped fairways which were a pleasure to hit off. First round I shot an 84, again equalling my best ever round and a 91 on the last day which I put down to five Spaniards in front that would not let us, a two ball go through so we had to wait 5 minutes plus before every shot which got me a bit rattled!!!
Anyway had the pleasure of a caddy on my last round ( that's what sons are for!) so got him to record my swing. Any comments good or bad would be appreciated.
By the way, in the local Spanish paper, La Manga which usually costs 194 euros a round had a special deal of 94 euros. Would love to have played it, but no time. Here is the video

I'm thick skinned, I can take it!!!
I think there's a lot of room for improvement as far as generating more power in the swing by a bigger shoulder turn and probably too much going on with my legs.

I used to but I always thought that was due to my shoulders being open to the target. I now pretty much hit the ball straight.

I try and imagine the club being pulled back, to get a nice wide take away. Thus generating more power.

then in that case i just think let it rip..........followed by a fore shout .....lol

I'm not sure how far but i'm guessing around the 260yd mark.
Just one question for you all. I have noticed that when the pros swing, thier left knee seems to bend out in front of them rather than, like mine, to the right. Does this action enable a better shoulder turn and give more torque for the downswing? Check Tiger and this other instruction video.
