Starting with a birdie hmmmmmmmm!!
Everytime I start a round with a birdie it always seems to end up a Poo round and far to often not to notice .I am now considering on settling for a par if faced with an opening birdie oppertunity and moving on . On the flip side some of my lowest gross rounds have strted with bogey or DB go figure. Is it me, am I alone on this??

A bad start immediately focus' the mind, David. I can remember carding a 10 on the first hole at Earls Colne, a par five, but then walked off the 18th having shot gross 72.
I cannot count the number of great starts that I have ruined.

Not just me then, have you ever considered missing the birdie put deliberatly ? I suspect not.

I started with a steady par this morning and played pretty well.
Its all in your head Dave but make sure you start with a Birdie at NVS!

This munter has changed his partner. Every single forum post is hijacked by Ley Marshall and co spouting this and that about how they will win. Have a bit of dignity and shut up spouting. Getting bored of this endless mindless drivel
