Wedge Shots
As mentioned in other threads I have bought myself a mizuno lob wedge and first time out it was hot - since then nothing but duffs.
So I took myself to the field near my local ranges with 3 balls to hit lob wedge shots. After two hours of 1/2 swings,3/4 swings and full swings I settled down to a stance etc not tried before.
Posture as normal, feet close together, ball opposite front foot then half swing back and follow through - this sent my lob wedge 30 yards to within a radius of about 15 foot for the three balls.
The field will be getting further visits with my g/w s/w and p/w to home in on this scoring game.
Question is - Have I just stumbled onto a recognised wedge stance or is it just me - it works so I will stick with it. but what is your method if not as mine.
I will be trying this kind of stance with 8 and 9 irons on the course this Thursday just out of interest - I won't say I have cracked it because we all know what would happen next..:-)

With me guy's I putt and chip with my feet together so that is why the feet together pitch probably works for me as well.
Itching to get out there with feet together 100 yards 8 iron 1/2 swing full follow through and see what happens - shame the field isn't a bit bigger.
