New Golf Channel

I just signed up for the new Golf Channel,  �Setanta Golf� watched it last night and its just great, it was the Sony Open and most of the golf is live from all over the world, they have most of the years big events.       There is a special offer on at the mo, first 3 months �10 a month then �15, for me this not bad as you get I think its 8 other sports on top of the all this Golf

I have signed to Sentanta  as well at the promotional price, and dumped my Sky Sports, and come out of  it paying in total less than before. A member of my family did the same and was offered a deal by Sky to keep the sports at a reduced rate, try it, it's only the price of a phone call.

PS The woman at Sky I talked to told me that lots of people where dumping the sports and complaining that the golf had been lost so maybe their is a deal to be done?

Chris P, is this through Sky or NTL ? 

I am delibarating on the NTL package but can't decide.   I think for me the big plus is the inclusion of NASN (for NBA, NFL, etc) which I almost purchased anyway for �10 per month.

Do I really want Rangers and Celtic TV though ?

Is it me or are NTL playing Setana Golf for free ?  I don't get Rangers or Celtic and Setana 1 and 2 tend to also be on from time to time for free ?

Are they just trying to entice me in ?

Don't know what provider you use Chris but I looked at the offer after reading your post on Saturday evening.

With Sky it was £15 for the 3 months for 8 Setana channels on 12 month contract required.

With Freeview it was £15 for the 3 months for only 1 premium channel.

With NTL, you got nothing   unfortunately that's what I am on
