Hello from deepest darkest Lanarkshire

Hi All,

Just taken up golf and I stumbled across your site while internet browsing for anything to do with this damn sport to which I now find myself addicted! :-)

I've played a few rounds on the local 9 holer, and had a few lessons, now looking to get some "proper golf" played.

Great site you have here, but why no Lanarkshire option for location, I don't know whether I'm Strathclyde or Central Scotland, but them I am easily confused!

Mark; I'm in Bellshill the "9 holer" is Polkemmet, although my lessons were down at Strathclyde Park. Off to the range shortly for another 100 balls. Wonder if I'll manage to hit 2 consecutive shots the same!!

Keep at it, the game will annoy the s**t out of you but for those shots you hit nicely, you'll keep coming back for more!
