I was going to take this to one of the other threads but felt it more appropriate and deserving to start one all of it's own.

I would like to congratulate David and the whole of the Southern team for finally wresting the trophy away from the North, and say a big thanks to all the players who contributed to a great weekend.  I know the feeling of losing a match but being ultimately victorious as a team so hope you're feeling great that you've all played a part.

I'd also like to extend a big thank you to all the members of my team for your stirling efforts, and especially to those pairings who won their matches, and that you didn't follow the lead of your captain and get murdered by his opponents!

Another great event organised by Darren and the Golfshake team, for once the weather was as good as it could have been.

Well done to the South, to Tim for leading us and to Darren and Luke for getting it all set up (including the weather for a change!).
