Want to Play the Brabazon, Sun 22 March @ 07:50 for £40?

Currently two spots available to play The Belfry's Ryder Cup course this Sunday.  We will be the first four-ball out, meaning you have an open course in front of you.  Cost is just £40 as you will be playing with members.

If anyone wants to join up, drop me a PM or post on this thread. 

Just 10 days later the Summer prices will apply and it will cost £150 to play the course!

You'll have to do it this weekend then Lee cos it's the final.  That'll REALLY be sweet revenge!  You can talk loudly about golf and get your dad to wind you up about how he's played the Brabazon but you haven't and what a great experience it was........

Why do you think the scorecards for the comp got loaded up in such a timely manner?

And I'll have you know that sparkly spandex suit was only in the car because I'd just picked it up from the dry cleaners.  It is very comfortable though....

He gets 6.0 for yesterday but a big fat 0 for the spandex , I suspect Santo may give him a high score though.

Only one spot left.  Chris Salter will be playing.  He would've played at the Springtime Season Starter had anyone else dropped out too as he was top of the waiting list.  He lives in Wigan so Santo nearly got nobbled!

being first out means you can't blame anyone else for holding up the course & it also means you'll have a queue of people watching as you bottle it & take your girly 4 iron off the 1st!!

Spot two is taken.  Paul Archer will be joining us (you just beat me to the board Paul!).  He lives just up the road from Chris so they will be coming down together. 

make sure your warmed up by the 10th so you can go for the green in 1.

if this is the only time you'll get chance to play the brab I would play another ball & go for the green.

I've got the perfect shot shape for it but not the power.  I may take a second ball off the tee just to give it a try. 

I never slated it Jonny as I've never played it.  I have said that most people I know who have played it said they felt it was a let down and the PGA was better but you should still play it once.

This is true but I enjoy taking risks sometimes as you will see by my golf on Sunday. Golf sends her to sleep so she would be in the land of nod by the time she'd got this far down the post.

I bet your CPU processing worked overtime to calculate that scorecard!!

To be fair, I don't think any of us played anywhere near what we're capable of.  In the main, I don't think the course is too difficult and I think most golfers could get 30+ points once they knew the course and if they played consistently.  I played consistently, only problem was it was consistently badly!

I agree with Chris in as much as the course wasn't that difficult, it was them greens that did it for me. 3 putted several of them and 4 putted 2 of them!!!! Ended up with 96. Someone said it was like putting in your bath!!
