Have I just wasted the cost of a round of golf ?
Couldn't resist and have been drawn into the Tiger hype and just had to upgrade my TV package to get Sky Sports
Fingers crossed he doesn't get knocked out tonight.
That said, I do hope the Brits continue their good run.

I've always found the services I think you are talking about a bit ropey. Not great quality, stop starting all the time, and juddery.
Is that one any good ?

It has been playing up tonight Darren it ran perfect last night, some are better quality than others agreed , golf channel seems the best. No idea why it freezes sometimes.

Thanks Dave, PM received.
I watched this event last night on my laptop.
The picture did freeze twice during the programme but not at important moments!
I'm thinking of setting my laptop up with a connection to my TV, so I can watch it on widescreenl.

The one thing I forgot to mention was the amount of adverts being shown.
Now I know that America is a 'Commercial' country and there TV does have it's advertisement breaks, but during this tournament they seem to be sticking them in at every opportunity!
Now I know there are not that many games to cover, and that some of them can finish earlier than others, that's matchplay.
The amount of adverts is OOT in my opinion and I'd hate to live in the US if they have to put up with that amount of adverts during their normal TV schedule.
Saying that, I'll be watching the matchplay again this evening.

I think watching it with a picture that freezes up once an hour is better than not watching it at all.

Definately worth the money. Treat to watch some of the Brits play and match play is a join to watch, every single game counts and no one is just playing for a quick buck.
Russ, I think it may be the norm in the US. Have you ever seen a game of American Football or Basketball with the time outs and stop starting. My wife once treated me to the British Basketball finals and always comments how the last 3 minutes actually took 30 mins with timeouts!
