Golf In Scotland

Posted by: user99044 | Sun 20th Jul 2008 17:48 | Last Reply

6 of us are travelling up from Yorkshire for a long weekend of golf either       Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday.

Can anybody recommend 1 or 2 courses to play, preferably within a 30 mile radius of each other, 4 hours from South Yorkshire & under £60 a round please?

If it's not too late you may want to look at the Freedom of the Fairways golf passport which are 3 or 5 day passes for 21 courses in the Scottish Borders. Go to http://www.scot-borders.co.uk/WhatToSee/Golf/FOF.aspx for more info. I can recommend The Hirsel, West Linton, Torwoodlee and The Roxburghe of the courses available.

I am up there myself next week and also trying out The Cardrona for the first time.
