Doing the right thing!!!!!!

Posted by: user10367 | Wed 9th Jul 2008 09:45 | Last Reply

I walked down the busy footpath, knowing I was late for an important meeting. My eye fell upon one of those unfortunate, homeless vagabonds that are found in every city these days.

Wearing what can only be describes as rags, carrying every worldly possession in two plastic bags, my heart was touched by this person's condition.

Some people turned to stare. Others quickly looked away as if the sight would somehow contaminate them.

Recalling some long ago Sunday school admonition to 'care for the sick, feed the hungry, and clothe the naked.' I was moved by some powerful inner urge to reach out to this unfortunate person.

Yes, where some people saw only rags, I saw a hidden beauty. A small voice inside my head called out, 'Reach out, reach out and touch this person'!

I've never written about this before, but I really need your advice.

I have suspected for some time now that my wife Anne-Marie has been cheating on
me. The usual signs are the phone rings but if I answer, the caller
hangs up. Then, she has been going out with "the girls" a lot
recently, although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some
friends from work, you don't know them."

I often try to stay awake to look out for her coming home, but I usually
fall asleep.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. Deep down I
just didn't want to know the truth.

Last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.
Around midnight, I decided to hide in the garage behind my golf clubs.
I knew I would get a good view of the whole street when she arrived
home.

When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was
wide open, and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them
on.

It was at that moment, crouching behind my clubs, that I noticed that
the graphite shaft on my driver appeared to have a hairline crack right
by the club head.

Is this something I should fix myself or should I take it back to the pro
shop where I bought it?

As you are aware golf has been ruining my life, its affected my business, my family life and my state of mind.I have been thinking of a way to put some balance back in to my life , golfing is such a drug there should be a government health warning attached. I have  tried numerous remedies but nothing seems to work but now I 've found the perfect solution to my problem, a change of career(follow the link) i'm going to join the navy!!

I spent 21 years in the Royal Navy and can't understand why I never got appointed to that beautiful carrier. Life's so unfair.
