Total beginner in Surrey

Posted by: user100445 | Wed 11th Jun 2008 12:37 | Last Reply

Hi all

Totally new to golf.... and a girl! My other half convinced me that it was a good idea and I'm really getting in to it! Played my first round of 9 the other evening and loved it.

Hopefully i will be good enough to attempt a full round soon but think i will probably get myself a few lessons first!

Happy golfing!

Hi Kelly, hope you know what you're getting into!  If you have a round like I did on Monday you may actually start to beleive that the only reason that your other half introduced you to the game was that he didn't like you!

Seriously, go out and enjoy it, most of us do most of the time and all it takes is one good shot to get excited about it again.  Get a few lessons, start your handicap dropping and come and join us in one of the competitions.  Just don't try and dress better than Wayne or Simon Overland, they'll get upset.
