Can ANY golf equipment/ accessory still be economically made in the U.K?

Surely there has to be something which we could manufacture in the U.K. and rightly be proud of?

Today I was slightly surprised to discover that over forty advertisers of hardwood club (and golf ball etc.) display racks crafted their goods in the U.S.A. bar one in Canada. Most exported to the U.K.

We have home grown hardwood here, and skilled wood workers.

Shame that my late father (a carpenter) has long since passed away as it might be a little venture worth floating?
