Where can I take my son who is 7 years old for around of golf as a treat

Posted by: user445823 | Mon 7th Apr 2014 17:16 | Last Reply

Hi, my son is 7 years old and is now regularly breaking 100 of the red tees at Penwortham Golf Club near Preston. As a treat I wanted to take him for a round of golf at a championship venue. Is this possible and if so where would you recommend ?

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul, no venue suggestions I'm afraid from me but I'd recommend giving this Golfshake course search a go. Great to see him playing golf and breaking 100 !

It allows some advance filtering so you can search for society friendly courses etc which may help narrow down your search.

Most championship courses have visitor times available. Why not ask him where he would like to play. I know Moortown is a good venue for the youngsters. The Faldo series has been there this week - final day today.
