Congu Handicaps

I currently have a Golf shake handicap of 20, but as I don't have a Congu handicap I can't enter any local competitions,can anyone advise

Open club competitions are by design for visiting club golfers so they will 99% of the time stipulate an 'official' club handicap which can only be obtained from an affiliated golf club.
