How do I tell the Missus !!!!

Been off work with "Man Flu" this week, feel a lot better today so went for a walk this morning and bumped into my neighbour.

Having a general chat about things and suddenly I'm the proud owner of a full set including carry bag of Taylormade R7's......Brand spanking new for half the price Linda is definately going to bury me now

I wouldn't mind but I haven't even bought anything for at least a week, got a new shirt for the Algarve trip he,he,he,he,.

A few options for you Wayne: - 

i) Soften the blow by getting something (less expensive but nice) for her.

ii) Claim that you did it to cheer yourself up after feeling so ill all week

iii) Tell her somewhere very public so she won't rant in case she embarrasses herself, giving her time to calm down somewhat prior to having some one-on-one time

iv) All of the above

I'm in favour of option iv) as it's the one I took last night when I told my other half that we were expecting delivery of a driver and a couple of fairway woods in a couple of days.....

Hey, we have to stick together.  You could also try suggesting that if she saw something really nice in the sales for half price that she knew would make her look really good, she wouldn't think twice. 

"And I would never question why you would do something that would make you feel happy sweetheart" pathetic, slightly hurt look trying to make her feel guilty

Don't tell her.  My wife couldn't tell the difference from one set of clubs to the other, especially if you buy some head covers.  If money is the problem try and sell an old set and treat her to a meal on the proceeds.
