Handicap certificates for La Manga South??
Can anyone answer this question please?
The website states that a certicicate is required to play the south course at la manga club.
If you've played there recently were you asked to produce one, and would a print out from my handicap profile page from golfshake be sufficient evidence???
many thanks

Darren,
When I've played in Spain the only course that ever requested to look at my certificate said it was OK when I said it was in the car. I always use a (cough) 'fake' USGA certificate but with my details from golfshake on it.
If you want me to send you an example send me a PM with your details.

I have never been asked for one anywhere in Europe or the USA. Money at the till is more important.

My experience from this year was somewhat different to the Johns. I was in Spain last month and the courses were quite insistent on handicap certificates.

I do get asked this question a lot and always advise members to check with the course first by telephone or fax to see if they will accept a copy of the golfshake.com handicap. I know a lot of other users have had this certificate accepted throughout the UK and the world, so hopefully it should be okay.
In terms of the certificate on golfshake.com I am planning to reduce a more improved and professional looking version very soon in PDF format.
