Injury help!

Posted by: user57485 | Thu 27th Sep 2007 17:23 | Last Reply

I picked up a golfing injury a month or so ago and I cant seem to shake it off, so much so that its now changed my swing (for the worse).

Its basically a muscle strain/pull from my shoulder running down my back.

I want to know if there is a quick fix for this injury or if i just have to rest it... any ideas how long I should rest it?

Could try going to the doctors and getting a proper diagnosis - unless there are any quacks on here?

Going to the doctor may help, but unless you've got a good one you may get the same 'well, you are getting on a bit, everybodys back hurts' line that I got.  I paid about £50 for a few sessions with a (reputable) sports physio and it worked wonders.  Not only did she relieve the pain but also explained the mechanics behind the injury and ways to avoid it.  Turned out I had three popped discs in my neck, something the doc failed to notice....
