Great article discussing the potential here -

Way too early to be drawing those comparisons. One has already achieved and the other is attempting to emulate him. A 2 shot winning difference proves nothing when you take into account that Tiger scored better on the final 18.

I think Rory has exactly the right attitude (at least publicly). I think he said the other day that after winning one major he just wants to win another; after that another. Setting targets would only result in perception that he "failed" and we all know that he has already succeeded and, I think, will continue to do so for many years. He has clearly "got it".
Nice to see him duff one 170 yards yesterday though - I can relate to that!!

I think he will win lots more majors, he seems to have adopted the mentality Jack Nicklaus adopted and focusing his golf on the majors and the lucrative fed ex cup nother tournaments just seem to be warm ups for these big events.
I agree with JP though it's a bit early to draw comparisions he needs to win a handful more first.

He will win more majors and big events than any other player over the next 10-15 years, but he won't dominate the game like Tiger did in the early noughties.
The field is just so much stronger now.

3 out the last 4 might suggest otherwise
