NEW USER CLUB SELECTION QUESTION

Posted by: user484052 | Fri 10th Aug 2012 22:53 | Last Reply

Hi everyone my name is Mike im new to the form. Alittle bit about myself. Im 28 golfing for about two years. My handy cap is about 15. I just got tested for swing analysis last night for the first time. My driver is 116- 118 topping out at 123 through 10 swings. My irons are 94 to 96 topping out at 104. I use a Adams F-11 Stiff flex 9.5 and Maltby Regular.

When i was hitting my driver i had a launch angle of about 11 if that means anything to anyone out there and the distance was 260 with a roll of about 10 to 15 yards. A five iron at 185 wiht roll of about 10 yards.

I was curious if this is standard for my swing speed and clubs. If any suggestions on how to upgrade to better equipment to suit my sing speed please share any info.

Thank for all the help.

Looks as though you are a very powerful chap, Michael. Playing my course of 7150 off the tips, with your length will leave you an average shot into the green of 123 yards. Seems to me as though you have it all already. Good luck in reducing your handicap.
