Recommendations

Looking for a good value golf course in the Berks/Surrey area for this weekend. Not Silvermere, Foxhills or Mill Ride. Any suggestions?
Under £30 would be good, and happy to play late afternoon Sunday.

May I suggest "Pine Ridge" at Deepcut. An excellent course.

I second that, a VGS favourite! Just over £30 but well worth the money. Don't get put off by the slow start it gets going after the 3rd or 4th hole.

I'd rather spend £20 at Pedham.
Although ruxley is the only place I got a 2 on a par 4.

Horses for courses, Keith.
The conditions of Tees, Fairways and Greens, are always great, the best in the area for the money, in my opinion.
As for scenery, I go on holiday for that. I like a course that Challenges, and greens i can put on. Unlike Birchwood, which in the winter, often has poor tempory greens, I bet thats why you were at Pedham in the winter.
Every hole on Pedham is different too.
I love Pedham. And I can say the only advantage Birchwood has over it, is the clubhouse.
