Get in the hole
Watching the Match Play on Sky and I appreciate this must have been mentioned before - but I think anyone shouting 'get in the hole' when the player is taking a shot from 200 yards or more, should be immediately escorted from the course (it's mainly the people following Woods, but it's just ridiculous) - just turned the sound down on the TV!

There was one following Tiger just before his 'problems'. Tiger slaps it down a long, tight par 3 and the fool shouts "get in the hole". Tiger calmly watches his shot land, speaks to his caddy, gets a ball and places it on the tee. He turns to the direction the shout came from and says "It's not in the hole, it's out of bounds". He shakes his head, returns to his ball and takes his three off the tee.
His ball flew towards the green in complete silence......

Only seems to be the Americans who have this annoying habit. Some real stupid ones will shout it when Woods is teeing off on a par 5!

Not sure if it's an urban myth but heard they originally did it so they could watch it back and hear themselves on TV!

I actually disagree that they should be escorted from the course, far too humane,
I personally favour hanging them by the neck from the nearest tree. I suggest it would only need to be done a couple of times for the message to get through.http://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor362/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.gif" title="wink" width="20" />

Yep I agree with James hanging or shooting, anything that shuts them up, typical over the top idiot americans.

Nope, hanging is too good for them. They should be staked out on the tee for the next player to have a go with a driver on their nads
