Welford

all by ourselves
perfect well maintained course great for golfers with a variety of experience but surprisingly unpatronised.(Round played: Jan 2022 - Score: 95 Handicap: 24.9)

Wide open well groomed fairways
Here is a course that needs (and gets) constant mowing! There are some interesting holes amongst some mundane. The booking system is hard work and confusing. One 18 hole booking results in 6 emails confirming yet not one tells you whether you have booked the front or the back nine It's a good day out.Reviewer Rating

Course in good condition better than the weather strong winds and rain made scoring difficult but the greens ran true except for the wind. Club house still closed so no food or drink available at the moment

Played early December so weather wasn't great and course generally pretty wet, that said managed to get round with no real issues greens in good condition, enjoyable round.

good course
course very wet but expected after the rain over the past 48 hours fairways all ok except in a couple of places greens very good considering the weather conditions. due to covid conditions club house, changing room all closed.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 104 Handicap: 21.7)

Welcome back
second 9 after lock down course looking good but could do with some rain fairways turning brown with this hot weather. Greens slow due to the length of the grass but only to be expected after such a long lay off and such a quick return to playing.(Round played: May 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 23)

Unfortunately since the reopening the course have decided to taken a step to increase the cost for a round from £10 for 18 holes to £12 for 9 holes. Which now makes it one of the most expensive courses. Even though their website indicates different. Was meet with a unhelpful response from the individual staff member.
Just to add we will not be playing there again. We drove from Cheltenham to play and passed many courses, we won’t be now.

Lovely Course
After a warm welcome and free coffee or tea, the well presented course has plenty of interesting variety in two distinct halves, one undulating and one flat with water. The green on the 18th is surrounded with a horseshoe shaped lake, providing a fun challenge to finish. The green fee is brilliant value.Reviewer Rating
