Neat and tidy, short course which provides an excellent challenge to mid-high handicap golfers.
Some tight fairways (with lots of right hand out of bounds for the slicers). The greens are fine and the rough thick enough to provide a challenging recover shot.
Areas of the course suffer a little with standing water (though the with the torrential rain which fell during our first 4 holes i am really not surprised).
There is no clubhouse or pro-shop and a portakabin serves as the reception/small shop.
The price is more than fair and I would happily play there again.

This course is a real tester. Not the longest but it demands accurate tee shots or trouble awaits! The course itself is plagued by poor drainage. New owners are trying hard to bring the course standard up. If your looking for a quick 18 holes, (Ive been round in 2and a half hours), that wont cost the earth, (£7 Monday to Friday) then look no further!

Friendly greenkeepers. Some holes better than others (for example, 5 through 12 aren't the greatest, but 1-4 and 13-18 are fine. Greens are patchy in places and a little bobbly, but then you're not going to get St Andrews for a tenner!

Played mid-week eveening in July, £6 for a round. Hadn't rained for at least 24 hours, but a few greens had standing water, all were in poor to average condition - made smooth putting hard. Few boggy areas on fairways meant playing with a muddy ball for 20% of second /third shots. Course set up and layout is OK, quite short. Seems liek it needs care and attention and some investment in green keeping. lack of attention to the course by owners took the edge of the round. Worth a try, but I won't be rushing back. Rather pay £10 and play a better quality course with better kept greens.

Lose your golf balls easily from teeing off. Lots of puddles on the fairways and if you hit a wayward shot it is hard to find. Overall though it is a very good for the price you pay and when it is a sunny day it is a brilliant course for people who don't play a lot of golf or newcomers.

It was an extremely wet day and apart from the lying water the ground was firm.
The greens were getting flooded so poor putting conditions will go back again when weather is dry.
