Excellent course, very open and wide so good for high handicappers like me. Club house is missing a bar and food, but that will come soon

Really enjoyable course, club house is tidy, great service, and very affordable. Will definitely return
Only downside were no putting/chipping greens or any practice nets (I don't believe)

play this course always in the winter and greens and fairways are always in good nick freindly staff always on hand and cheap green fees cant go wrong ideal for me as im a novice

Just returned from a solo back 9 and on first impressions found the staff friendly, the facilities clean and the course in superb condition. I was also more than impressed when the course marshal caught me up to say I had left my 3 iron behind at an earlier hole! Yes its no St Andrew's I agree but for a pay as you play course I would say it was faultless. I will definitely return and probably take the old man to show him its just as good as Upminster and must admit, better in many ways !

This was my first time at this course and my fifth outing this season and I have to say that the condition of the course, as a whole, was by far the best I've encountered. Fairways are very well maintained and the greens are superb given the time of year. Don't be put off by the relatively short length of the course, just 5119 yards, or low par of 67, this is a really fun course to play. Will be coming here again in the future. Score:- 82

I can`t believe the course was open let alone very dry. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were dry and firm. After all that rain the place was looking good. A bit muddy between green and next tee box but no complaints here. The course played well especially as there were lots of people on it. The staff have done a great job so hats off to them.
A short course but some nice use of water just to keep you on your toes. Plenty of space around you to use the driver to maximum effect. 18th Island green needs an accurate shot as it`s not forgiving!!!!
And to top off a good day it was only £14.00
