hmmm what can i say? typical links course, interesting holes out and back. greens werent brilliant when we played in september and we had to carry a small bag of seeded sand around to fill in any divots as fairways were in a sorry state . clubhouse was excellent but at £45 i thought was over the top though i guess typical for links courses everywhere. Oh, nearly forgot to mention the added hazard of the herd of cows on the fairways!!!!

Not a great challenge in calm conditions

This is a pleasant golf club, the staff are friendly and the course is well laid out but not a great challenge in dry mild conditions but its a pleasant walk.

Absolute beauty

Great positive start walking into the pro shop, lads super friendly and welcoming. Course was in great condition, new to links and found the fringes a bit weird as played the run up to find soft fronts pitch it on and rock hard bounces. I'm guessing a few visits you gain the knowledge. greens superb.

Should have driven the 16th, finished with 3 bogeys last being 100yrds out :-( back to finish strong next time.

Tough day in the wind

A great day, course was in good nick and lots of fun. Worth being aware there are lots of little water hazards on most holes which are often hidden.

Links Golf at its best

We played the course late August, it was still recovering from last years drought. They sensibly allowed placement on the fairways. The rough was brutal as you would expect in links golf. Some fantastic holes like the blind par 3 hopefully with a bit of rain the course will return to its best as some greens were not in great shape. The course on the whole is excellent and a real challenge for all ranges of golfers.

a WINDY DAY BUT A PLEASANT MATCH and the greens were in good condition as were the fairways. The bunkers still have silly grasses on their tops and I had one unplayable shot stuck under their roots. The Club house and facilities were very good and staff friendly and helpful in all areas

Aberdovey is a favourite after one visit . Nestled between the mountains and the sea.. You cross a railway line to access the course . The pro shop is well stocked with friendly staff. The clubhouse bar/restaurant is on the first floor with views of the course. It is very well manicured particularly for a links course. Well set out not a bad hole in sight. Good wholesome food and friendly staff
