What the club says: Walhampton is a high quality 9-hole course overlooking the Solent at the southern edge of the New Forest. The raised greens are constructed to the highest standard and the different levels and subtle borrows present a fair challenge to golfers of all abiliites. The 9 holes measure around 2,500 yards with five par 4's, three par 3's and a par 5.

Convenient 9 hole courseWalhampton is like Ronseal. It does what it says on the tin. If you want to get out swinging your clubs then it works a treat. The layout is pretty simple and a great place for beginners. There are some lovely views across the Solent too. One downside though is the greens are in very poor condition at the moment. There are small bare patches all over them which obviously doesn?t help your putting. I visit Walhampton occasionally and will continue to do so.
Do not playShame I didn't read reviews first , would not of wasted half hour getting there not to mention the £12.50 for the 9 holes , the greens are in a terrible state the tees and fairways are not looked after , I get the impression all the clubs efforts have gone on their crazy golf course . Do not bother playing its the worst 9 hole golf club course I have ever visited in 30 yrs of playing , I feel sorry for the members !!!
