Played in the recent Seniors Open. Course in good condition and greens were fast and true. Members very appreciative of improvements recently made and of those to come. Traditional clubhouse with good facilities. hosts looked after us extremely well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good test of golf.

I have played this course a number of times and have recently decided to become a member which says a lot about my opinion on the course! Deceptively long, the course proves a fun challenge with tree lined fairways, clever bunkering and large undulating greens. The greens in particular are of high quality and leave you with some tricky but fair putts. I find a good score is possible on this course, but you don\'t have to be too far off line to be punished. As a members course the green fee for visitors is a little steep but at £30 for a guest fee this is highly recommended. Great course.\\Also, worth saying the staff and membership are all very friendly and welcoming - well worth a visit.

I am fortunate enough to know a member here and play here 3 or 4 times a year, the course is always in excellent condition with the greens being especially good. The fairways are quite forgiving but you do need a good drive of at least 230/240 yards on most holes to have a chance of being on the green in two. The wildlife is lovely with deer roaming around the course, good value for £30 but a bit trumpy at £60 without a member.

This is a members only course, and a great course to play.
I have a friend who is a member so I am very lucky to be able play the course when invited.

Excellent course in good condition , gently undulating with some great golf holes especially 12 and 13 , very well bunkered course with lots of fairway cross bunkering.Great old clubhouse with excellent facilities , good showers and fantastic food. Definately worthy of a visit for a throughly enjoyable day out.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 72 Handicap: 3.8)

A parkland course in reasonably good condition for the time of year. Very flat and a lot of long par 4's. Fairways mostly in good condition. Some of the greens were a bit patchy but time of year and weather have not helped. Club house and facilities were very good. Ample parking and easy to find. A long way from where I live, so good to play once but not regularly for me.Reviewer Rating

Course was perfect condition will well maintained fairways, fast greens and reasonable rough. Staff were friendly and facilities as would be expected.

A thoroughly enjoyable yet relatively unknown and unassuming course - with the greens in particular in excellent condition. The premium is on accuracy not length so don't be fooled by the relatively short length. There are plenty of overhanging trees to catch out even the most mildly off-line drive.

Have wanted to play here for ages . Finally got round to booking and it didn't disappoint.
Friendly check in . Talked us thru course set up and work that had been done.
Course was immaculate tee to green. Only gripe was the slow play. Waiting for 2 ball in front to finish their conversation every shot was annoying... not the clubs fault ! But members should be able to see they're causing a jam!

Decent course if rather unspectacular. Course was set up ok but that greens needed some work. Would maybe consider playing again
