VERY Challenging
I've been lucky to play this course 4 times with one of the members and it is incredibly exclusive., so you have to play with a member. Many of the top Dutch footballers/managers are members.....My claim to fame was helping Marco Van Basten look for his ball in the rough last time I played. The International will no doubt be on the TV as it hosts the KLM Open later this year so a bit of work is going on at the moment to this already fabulous course.
The Club House is amazing. You get greeted by your name and a locker with your name on it provided for the day. The views from the club house are impressive over the 18th green and 9th tee... and the food is first class without crazy prices. I had a club sandwich (with personalised golf tees pierced through the middle of them) a beer and a glass of wine for €26.
The course is deceptively tricky. Very links like with uneven fairways with lots of swales, dune like boundaries. But unlike a links there is also water and lots of it - water affecting shots which is not evident off the tee. So beware the hidden water on 5 especially.
I found an exceptionally accurate hole by hole guide written in 2013 here which is worth a read https://www.top100golfcourses.com/golf-c

Overall it is exciting venue - sometimes you have huge aircraft lading over head at Schiphol as it is right on the flight path. (Just try putting with an A380 roaring overhead as it comes into land!)
The greens are impressive -some huge elevated tees with huge mountainous undulations......it makes you thing the designer (Ian Woosnam) was thinking fondly of the Welsh hills when he did this! But it makes putting a huge challenge. FYI I only 3 putted twice this time - my best yet!
I have never played anywhere near handicap on this course. It is tough but hugely enjoyable.
Really good practice facilities over the road, but beware of who you might be standing beside. My playing partner had Ruud Gullit analyzing his swing the other day!
