Worth a visit
New course , and it shows, tees were in a ragged state ,dry and thread bare ,But the course itself is a tough challenge for a medium to high handicapper ,
Greens are ok !!
Value for money ???? no , not until it’s matured and established,

Aegas day out
Clubhouse and facilities first rate. Course a bit tight between tees so quite a slow round as tendency for groups bunching up, but apart from that course and greens in pretty good nick and if your golf aint up to much on the day then the cricket in the evening worth a watch(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 14)

Good test
Played for the first time as green fee price come down 20 quid and is great value for money as this course is a great test of golf with some fantastic holes. A course map would be handy as there are some blind tee shots, but overall good greens and presented very well and shall definitely return for that price.Reviewer Rating

Nice but Very noisy!
After many years, the old County 9 hole golf course has at last been opened and renamed "Boundary Lakes", an obvious reference to its owners, Hampshire CCC who's Aegis Test ground overlooks the course. Only 5 weeks since opening, it is obviously all quite "new" despite the number of years in preparation, but overall is a very pleasant and testing course. Despite on first view of the card and a very short 5154 yards off yellows, don't imaging it to be easy walk in the park, that it sure isn't, and a Buggy, although expensive, could be a useful tool! After see the upmarket Hilton where you sign in and pay your fees at The American Golf Shop, there is not much more to do than get on out to the course and play. There is a restaurant and bar upstairs in the hotel, but you need a mortgage for both of these and truthfully, not value for money at all. There is no "club" as such, and where one changes, I have yet to find. The next thing you will realise as you get to the first tee is the incredible noise coming from the nearby Motorway, and for the first 5 or 6 holes, it is very difficult to speak and be heard in normal ways - easily the noisiest few holes I have ever heard. The course itself is made up of a good variety of holes, and after the first few, becomes a very stiff walk, and the shortage in length is mainly that there are 7 par 3's, althe the 4 par 5's do in some way make up for this. The walk is made harder with some long walks between the green and next tee, none more so than a 150 steep climb up to the 10th tee, only to have to play back down to a very average par 4.. On the course, the greens and fairways are good, but many of the tees are very poor. Signage is mainly good but there are times where it could be much better. The course, although needs to mature a bit more and it is understood that more land has at last been purchased and some more holes are going to be built, which hopefully will make it longer.
The facilities off course are really based around the Hilton Hotel, and are not really aimed at Golfers, Beefys restaurant, despite views over the Cricket pitch, is very expensive and not really suitable for golfers. Likewise, the catering and changing facilities are not really suitable for Societies yet.
Hopefully, although still enjoyable as a visit now, the next few years will really get the course much better reviews

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscape of [insert location], Boundary Lakes exudes an aura of serenity and natural beauty from the moment you arrive. The meticulously manicured greens, framed by lush trees and tranquil water features, set the stage for what promised to be an unforgettable round.
From the outset, it became apparent that Boundary Lakes demands precision and strategy from players of all levels. As a novice, I found myself grappling with the nuances of club selection and shot placement, learning valuable lessons with each swing. The fairways, though inviting, require a delicate touch to navigate successfully, while the strategically placed bunkers and water hazards serve as constant reminders of the penalty for errant shots.
One aspect of Boundary Lakes that particularly impressed me was the diversity of its holes. From challenging par 5s that demand length and accuracy off the tee to intricate par 3s that require pinpoint approach shots, each hole presented a unique set of challenges that kept me engaged and on my toes throughout the round. Moreover, the layout of the course encourages players to think creatively and adapt their game plan accordingly, fostering a sense of spontaneity and excitement with every shot.
Despite my limited experience, I couldn't help but appreciate the impeccable condition of the course. The greens, true and fast, rolled smoothly beneath my putter, rewarding well-struck putts with satisfying results. Additionally, the attentive course maintenance ensured that every fairway and rough was pristine, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and playability of Boundary Lakes.
As I made my way through the back nine, I couldn't shake the feeling of exhilaration that comes from mastering a new challenge. While my scorecard may not have reflected the skill and finesse of a seasoned golfer, the sense of accomplishment I felt upon completing my round at Boundary Lakes was undeniable. Moreover, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere cultivated by the staff and fellow golfers alike made the experience all the more enjoyable, reaffirming my love for this timeless sport.
In conclusion, my inaugural round at Boundary Lakes Golf Course was nothing short of unforgettable. From its breath taking scenery to its demanding yet rewarding layout, every aspect of the course left a lasting impression on this novice golfer. As I continue to hone my skills and embark on future golfing adventures, I have no doubt that Boundary Lakes will hold a special place in my heart as the site of my early triumphs and tribulations on the links.
