I play the Cromwell course a lot, and love it. Some holes are tight but that's a test for the average golfer. I find the course well looked after and have no complaints at all. My best score there is a 79.

An excellent venue for golf. Both Abbotsley and Cromwell are good courses, and well maintained. Would recommend to anybody

Forgiving course for a high handicapper. Considerate staff for a solo player trying to ensure they don't get blocked behind larger groups.

We really enjoy this course. Great value for money, as the Abbotsley Course a lot more, but is not that much better. Cromwell course every time.

Good back-up
The main Abbotsley course has been vandalised and is out of action until 2018. We weren't told this when booking and were disappointed to be on the Cromwell. It is not a particularly interesting course, but does have some challenges around the greens and both the fairways and the greens were in good nick. Extremely quiet on a Monday afternoon when we visited.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 101 Handicap: 27.6)
