Shame about half the greens being spiked. Course in great condition otherwise

Played Nicklaus course and was disappointed to be honest. Greens and fairways not in great condition not to mention the poor signposting between holes. I would advise getting a buggy as it is quite a hike between some holes.

Only downside was pace of play 4 1/2 hours for a two ball. We had 2 four balls in front. Would play in midweek.

Nicklaus - very nice
A good course, well laid out with a good mix of straightforward & some testing holes. I particularly liked 7 & 15 where the brook across the fairway makes you think strategically.The greens were good, but the bunkers were mostly awful.
Of the two courses, this was in slightly better condition, but I do prefer the layout of the Cheshire, especially the back 9.
For £20 before 8am, you can't really complain
