What the club says: The Club which has been in existence for over a century, was founded by Mrs. Anderson of Lossiemouth in 1884 when the Course consisted of some 9 holes. The Course was developed subsequently in 1886 and became a 14 hole golf course and again in 1895 to 18 holes.

This is an extremely scenic, fun to play, course in very good condition as of 6/7/2015. As we played it, it had 16 par 4's and 2 3's. Some tees and greens are very close together, but with reasonably good sense, can be played safely. Greens fee probably a little high, and we not try the clubhouse although it looked nice. But a very good golf experience.
