Poor condition
This course has gone downhill since lockdown, greens are poor, lots of bare patches on the fairway and lots of GUR too. The price for a round has also rocketed, definitely not worth the money.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Course
Joined this club 6 months ago and have enjoyed playing the course ever since. It is a challenge with punishing rough. As the pro advice always says "keep it on the fairway". I play at least twice a week and even though the course is still maturing I look forward to each round I play.Reviewer Rating

Challenging layout in good condition.
At 7100 odd yards with only 1 par 4 under 400, it’s a tough test. There are some challenging teeshots with well placed bunkering, and although the fairways are generous, gorse and thick rough awaits any waywardness. The green complexes are sufficiently sloped and tiered to provide some interest with approach shots. The course could do with a driveable or short par 4 to add some variety. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, whilst the greens couldn’t be described as overly quick, they are true and more than adequate given my round was midweek and following some rain. The fairways have fairway watering and so are green and lush, and are a far cry from the burnt out bare fairways at other club courses at this time of year.
One downside is that whilst the vast majority of bunkers looked good, there were a couple of bunkers in poor condition or out of play - these didn’t tend to be green side or generally prominently in play though.
Warmly welcomed at reception on arrival and had a chat with some friendly members on the first tee.
Overall had a good experience, given the age of the course, it’s in good condition and is a challenging layout which will become better and better as it matures. I do hope that the final 9 being built will have a couple of shorter par4s (under 400 yards) to add a little variety

I'll not be back for a while.
It's fair to say that the people behind Ingrebourne must be passionate about their plan. And s lot of effort has already been put into the project. But for me there are many flaws. It's difficult to know who Ingrebourne is trying to speak to. While I thought the fairways were fair and generally rewarded good shots of the tee, see same can't be said for shots onto the green. In my opinion green should be a challenge - quick, sloping, undulating - all fine. But shots onto these greens were a complete lottery. So, the the most patient of high handicappers would find them frustrating.
I get the feeling a low handicapper would want a lot more from their golf experience than this. It's far from a beautiful place. Looking up from the fairway, the horizon is industrial and closer to home are the many signs of a not quite complete building project.
I'd give it another go in ten years, but until then, there are hundreds of better options.

North and East courses
This has the potential to easily be the best course I. Essex. Which is incredible considering how new it is. A few areas of constant standing water that needs addressing and also the finishing off of the last 4 holes needs addressing but all in all a super option in this areaReviewer Rating
