Recently opened to the public with a temporary clubhouse. It is part of an estate development and there is a lot of construction work in progress around the course. The course is very good with loads of bunkers and a few water hazards. It blends beautifully with the natural habitat and has very good drainage. The greens are very firm and good with some challenging pin positions.

I'm a member at Lakowe and play there every weekend. The course is quality, challenging but fair. Fairways are good, rough is tough with spots of high grass and a sandy base making good contact from the rough a challenge. Greens are moderately large of varying quality, some have patchy areas where the grass is sparse. Facilities are adequate, there are plans to improve over time. Cost to join is fair, and annual fees are not too onerous. The nicest aspect of Lakowe Lakes is you feel secluded from the general chaos of Lagos. The biggest drawback is the 45-60 minute drive each way,mdepending on where you live in Lagos.

Course playing well. Fairways and greens have improved greatly over the last 8 months since playing last. Bunkers still contain heavy sand. A minor point.

Nice Course, challenging enough. Greens are reasonably fast. Great location a few miles from the ocean. Also great subdivision in the making as houses are slowly being built around the golf course.

Very good greens. Probably best in Nigeria. Fairway still tu young and need some "maturity" to match the design and overall quality expactations. Layout interesting and challanging. Another year and the rating will be higher.
