A smallish but pleasant course situated next door to Lancaster golf club ideal for learning on. Has a small clubhouse to purchase food n drink and possesses a golf driving range for you to practice your swing and if needed a golf pro to help u along but at a cost eh.

I play this course regularly, excellent 9 hole course. There is always a really warm and pleasant atmosphere in the club house to greet you. The course is relatively quite flat, so your not going to get tired pulling or pushing your trolley. The greens are well maintained, look easy but believe me they are not. If your playing watch out for the tree lined 5th, I'm sure there is a golf ball magnet in there.

A short 9 hole course, excellent for begginers. Very welcoming owners, will offer lots of advise, pro on hand for lessons, well maintained.

This course is in a really good condition. Although half of the holes are par 3's it's still s good challenge. Be warned though its very hilly. Played last year after just starting out, but on this trick I knocked of 30 shots. Great fun.

This is a great course to play. Not long, but the holes are tight and the greens tricky and challenging, and in superb condition. The atmosphere is friendly as is the welcome. Now play this course regulary and would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Ashton and Stodday is a nine hole course with five par 4s and four par 3s. It is right next door to Lancaster Golf Course and since it was bought by the current owners they have worked hard to improve all aspects of the course. I regularly play here and whilst it is not long, it is fairly tight. This applies especially to the par 3 5th particularly if the tee boxes are set to their maximum length. Higher handicap golfers will enjoy it here as you have a good chance of scoring well as long as you keep it straight.
