Tucked between the world famous Boulders Penguin Reserve and the picturesque Fisherman's Beach lies the historic Simon's Town Country Club.
The unique 9-hole golf links is situated where a century ago, Boer War P.O.W's awaited shipment from the naval base to Ceylon. At the second Tee there is a plaque, which not only states that the site was a Prisoner of war camp, but also demarcates the spot where the prisoners collected their post.

Amazing views and fun short course
The weather was beautiful and it was completely calm. The fairways and rough are very brown dues to the high winds and heat. Everything slopes towards the sea and you have to play your tee shots accordingly. The greens are very hard because of the wind so nothing stops from a distance.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 28.6)
