Great course at a great price wonderful layout but does need some work as greens were in poor state as were the tee boxes shame cos brilliant course.

Unexpectedly good!
I was very impressed with this course. The bunkers could do with some improving (filling mostly) but the course, generally, was great. There is no proper clubhouse so be prepared for that but the green fees for the course with excellent views are well worth it.Reviewer Rating

Even with all the rain we've had just recently ,the course was playable . The greens were quite fast. The bunkers were in good condition ( l found 3 of them) I also found the quarry.

Good well drained winter course. Grrens in great condition although other players should repair pitch marks. Tight lies on fairways becasue the course is so well drained.

This course is always playable through the wettest days in winter. Laying on chalk the drainage is very good here

Great value
Played today as needed a morning start on a good course at reasonable value and this ticked all the boxes. Given the weather, course in geat nick including the greens and played a two ball in 3.5 hours which was very good consideirnbg the 3 and 4balls in front..Reviewer Rating

Hadn't played here for a while. Course was in good nick, especially given the recent weather. Had drained well and greens were fairly receptive and rolled well. Good pace of play and enjoyed the round.

Course condition
I don't know how much rain had fallen, but remarkably the fairways were exceedingly green considering the course is built on chalk, however it still didn't stop me putting my tee shot on the 15th into the quarry.Reviewer Rating
