Great course to improve your golf,excellent for mid to high handicap golfers, great views over the river fourth. easy to reach from the center of Edinburgh.

greens are in good condition at the moment the rough is a bit lush so keep it on the short stuff !!

Good local authority course - a bit soggy at this time of year same as all parkland - Some decent holes and worth a look

Good council coursed played on a bad boggy day which made scoring tricky - nice views and decent mix of holes

Course was soggy after heavy rain the day before but held op well considering!
Fairways were in good condition but tees and greens could do with a trim
as putting proved to be a pain with everything coming up well short!
Have played it in Summer so will be back!

many thanks to the pro and starter for fitting our outing in at very short notice, after our arranged course was closed due to the weather. Silverknowes was in great order despite the weather, a credit to all concerned. I will be making a return visit soon.

played here loads of times decent course greens are good at the moment always been a bit of pot luck if they are good or not !! but when they are I would recommend more often
