Course has some long green to tee treks, so a buggy is recommended, which makes for an expensive round of golf. Some real challenging holes.

A real challenge (in a good way)

Really beautiful course. I find it really tough: a battle to stay within range of the hole pars (notwithstanding my usual mistakes).
On this day some breeze came up which made it even tougher.
It has lost a bit of that x-factor since it was opened: staff no longer treat you particularly well and its annoying that if you are there much before first tee time there's no one round. More houses completed now around the course and more to come should make this better as there's more opportunity to make money.

Great course but a bit of a challenge

Met a golfer the day before who said they loved the way they treat you at Las Colinas. Don't think that is true: it's certainly not up to the way it was when it opened and I think that, if you get there a few minutes early you shouldn't have to wait for them all to rush up in their cars 2 minutes before work starts so they can open the place up for you. Also, we found some of the other golfers were a bit rude this time which weve never seen before.

Excellent facilities, free range balls before game, buggies have sat nav giving distance on all holes from where buggy is, course condition very good, greens could be a little more receptive.

Started us off 10 to avoid group 4 ball delays, and for us as a 3 ball it worked well.
Fairways lush, greens in good nick tho yellow tees were mostly well forward.

A very upmarket choice in the area with great clubhouse facilities and first class service. The course was not in great condition when I played (August 2013) but there are some very good shots/holes like the Par 3 8th and the great tee positions on the 9th.
