Beautiful course

The best condition course I've ever played.
Raised greens very tricky and surrounded by loads of big bunkers.
Plenty of sand in them though so no excuses for not getting out.
Probably too many bunkers making it hard for high handicappers.
Undulating fairways so ball always above or below your feet.
Apparently 112 euro green fee. As good as it is that's a bit steep.
Practice facilities were tour class .
Thoroughly enjoyable course and a great last hole alongside the lake with
lovely water feature.

Absolutely superb first class venue in a fantastic setting and location. Course is tough but fair and provides a challenge for all golfers. Worth a buggy due to some of the elevations and walks but nothing major and most will get away using a trolley. Difficult to pick up a signature hole because there are so many that are good! Highly recommended!

Las Colinas Perfection

A couple of words can be used to describe Las Colinas. First class.
The entire experience, from welcome in the Pro Shop, to lunch in Unik, then 18 holes on an absolutely spectacular golf course. This is a must play when in or around Costa Blanca. Choose your tees wisely for an excellent day of golf.

A joy to play!

First time playing in this part of Spain and what a great course this was. The course is designed to flow around the resort/villas/apartments and cleverly laidout in a circular structure with the holes flowing in a looping way. This design ensures that the course is carefully featured in the landscape with no two holes the same and ever changing vantage points to some fantastic views across the course, resort and surrounding landscape.

With this being a resort style course the fairways are fairly forgiving but the many, many bunkers are carefully positioned and waiting for any ball that you don't keep to the centre of the short stuff. Also, with water on several holes, some of which protect the greens, this course will make you think. The greens are exceptional and whilst fairly large they ran true, were well kept and offer a variety of tests in terms of the undulations based on pin positions.

The design and layout is a pure joy to play. Tough enough to challenge low handicap golfers who want to chase a score and enough options for high handicappers to also have a suitable challenge if they play the course utilising their handicap. With so many good holes and holes played from elevated tees it is difficult to pick out a stand out hole!

I did use an electric trolley on my trip and would normally carry but the trolley is a good option given a few of the walks green to tee and some ups and downs required between holes. Many people did use buggies which might not be to everyone's liking but it did ensure a decent pace of play.

The facilities were also first class and food offerings excellent with the clubhouse providing a perfect outdoor seating area to sit watching players take on the 18th hole.

The course is well priced for what you get in terms of a top class course in Spain and if you do your research you may find some great deals for playing later in the day. Highly recommended and worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great course

Top quality course at a price. Very long if pulling trolleys, so you need to be reasonably fit. Had suffered from recent exceptional floods that washed out many bunkers, and as a result we were given reasonable discounts. Pyramid of balls on the practice range included.

A real challenge (in a good way)

Really beautiful course. I find it really tough: a battle to stay within range of the hole pars (notwithstanding my usual mistakes).
On this day some breeze came up which made it even tougher.
It has lost a bit of that x-factor since it was opened: staff no longer treat you particularly well and its annoying that if you are there much before first tee time there's no one round. More houses completed now around the course and more to come should make this better as there's more opportunity to make money.

Great course but a bit of a challenge

Met a golfer the day before who said they loved the way they treat you at Las Colinas. Don't think that is true: it's certainly not up to the way it was when it opened and I think that, if you get there a few minutes early you shouldn't have to wait for them all to rush up in their cars 2 minutes before work starts so they can open the place up for you. Also, we found some of the other golfers were a bit rude this time which weve never seen before.

Exceptional course

Clearly built for bigger and better things in future. Many holes are on Championship distance. 600 yard 11th hole off the yellows, for example! Undulating, super fast greens, with multi million pounds properties being built around it. Superb modern clubhouse, cannot say enough about it

Cracking course in very good condition. Makes you think as you go round as has several dog legs and various changes in elevation on many holes, both up and down. Wind also plays a part as was breezy during my trip. Excellent customer service from the club re preparation of buggies, practice balls etc. Facilities on site are also excellent including food and beers in the club house. That's also a nice time to spend time post round watching other golfers come down and finish the par 5 18th over water. Will play again in due course and look forward to doing so.

Excellent golf course. A must play

It is no wonder this has been voted in best course in Spain awards the last two years.
From the moment you arrive and checked in you are treated by professionals. The course has an excellent layout and the golf buggies have a fly by hole video screen showing you lay up areas and overview of each hole. The little touches make all the difference. A must play if you visit the area. Highly recommend
