What the club says: The club established in 1951, has played a pioneering role in introducing, sustaining, and popularizing the sport of Golf in the State of Qatar. Since its humble beginning as 09-hole brown course with sand and oil mixture, was originally developed as an alternative for the grass course by oil drilling pioneers for the sport then known as “Desert-Golf”
