Fairways are nice a green. Really well kept.
Greens are true. Some will pose a real test if your the wrong side of the hole.
It seems a short course. 4 or 5 par 4's are around the 300 yard mark but most are blind tee shots so tread carefully.
A lot of dog legs makes it a thinking mans course and you'd probably play a few hole differently if you went back.
Overall a great place. Great value. Will be back.

Well worth a visit
Played this in their Pairs betterball Senior Open, and because Covid was still in place, things were not back to normal yet. The new clubhouse was due to be finished in April, but is still being worked pn, but it looks like it will be great. In the meantime, the temporary slubhouse is quite good, and food was served outside by two very friendly caterers. Pro shop was quite small, but well stocked, although they are waiting for delivery of some items which will have their new name on them. The club name is changing from Bourn Golf & County Club to Cambridge Country Club. The tee, fairways greens and bunkers were all very good, and pace of play was also reasonable considering we were playing in a Senior Open! Played with a couple of members who felt the fairways were a little on the long side, and that the greens were somewhat slower than they would have liked, but overall nothing too bad.
Difficlult to tell the pricing as the Senior Open is a good deal, but I would certainly recommend the course and facilities, and I'm looking forward to going back.

Good enjoyable course
I played at Bourn with my usual golf partner on a nice day just before Easter 2019. We have played here a few times and always enjoy the course. It was in good condition with well cut fairways and consistent greens. The welcome from the staff in the Pro shop beforehand and afterwards from the staff in the restaurant were very good. We enjoyed our food, which capped a very enjoyable day's golf.Reviewer Rating

Hospitality of the club is the best I have seen for some time.
Course in excellent condition although getting a little dry.
A good challenge for the mid handicapper and a good venue for a relaxed golf day.
Would recommend investigation.

Feltwell away day.
First time I had played Cambridge Country club (Bourn) golf club and was very pleased with the course layout and condition of the course. You could see the greens had recently been worked on due to some problems they have had (which were explained to us by starter) but another few weeks and they could be tip top. All the staff from reception, bar, pro, starter etc. We're very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse and facilities looked great and the catering was fine all in all a great day and would definitely return.Reviewer Rating
