Council owned course providing challenge to golfers of all standards. Score well in first five holes as course is difficult from 6 onwards. Plenty of water hazards and sloping greens with well positioned shallow bunkers.

At £19 for 18 holes its very cheap, the couse is in very good condition with no lying water.

Fairly long, flat course. Plenty of water and testing drives. Huge greens so even when you are on them it can still be difficult to get down in 2. Greens and fairways usually in good condition. Council owned course so green fees relatively cheap compared to other courses.

very good value for money council course.well looked after greens are fantastic.very challenging as well.special offers include 9 holes for 5 pounds mon to thurs after 6pm

Played the course in July 2009 and was impressed. Although a council ran facility the green staff had the course in terrific condition. Greens were only ones I played this summer that were receptive to iron shots. This course is young but a great deal of work has been done to add new trees and new fairway bunkers on virtually every hole. Will look even better in years to come. Will provide a stern test for even the longest of hitters. Will definitely be going back.
