First time playing this course 27 hole layout only did 18 but can play any combination
Greens were excellent for a public course worth a visit
Also has a 9 hole pitch n put so great for all ages

A fair test of golf
The course is well maintained all things considered.It's summer time at time of review, so the fairways are running a lot more and getting get an extra yard or two from tee shots is easy but then the greens are less receptive and can be tricky to hold with your approach shot. (winter time its the opposite not too surprisingly).
The rough is quite punishing all year but the fairways are reasonably generous so its the very wayward shot that suffers rather than an off centre one.
The course is well balanced with easy and tricky holes and suitable for most skill levels.

Lovely golf courses
Garon Park is short but very tricky, lots of well placed bunkers and an awful lot of rough.Greens were large and undulating.
Really enjoyed playing here with it's 3 sets of 9 holes.
Very good service and great food.

Played 9 holes on the west course and must say the condition of he tees and greens were the poorest ai have ever seen them due to the current lack of rain and the managements refusal to ever water them. His makes the course exceptionally challenging as you cannot land the ball anywhere on the green, if I had wanted to join a lynx course ai would have expected theee conditions. In my opinion the ly ruin what could be an extremely good course by lack of watering.
