Great Course
Course was in excellent condition,very interesting holes, slightly off line and rough added to the challenge. Would recommend course(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 106 Handicap: 26.7)

test yourself, its a good course
This is really my home course having been a member previously. Its a difficult course and the rough is getting back to being very punishing. The greens and surrounding approaches are superb but yesterday the fairways were really hard and parched, we haven't had any rain for a few days and it shows.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 13.3)

Badly run club
I used to be a member here but now only visit occasionally.The new owners are clearly in it for short term profit. A big part of a successful club is value for money and being respected as a customer. Try ringing the pro-shop, generally no answer. Try ringing the main office, generally no answer. Driving range ball dispenser not been updated since the new £1 coins came in so generally unusable. Concessions for BIGGA members? No. Try turning up at 5.30 in the height of summer - all locked up. And the cost of a round? Way too high for the overall experience.
Having said all of that, the guy in the pro-shop is very polite and amenable, the fairways are good and the greens very good.
Watch what happens when the new course opens nearby.

Good greens. Fair and consistent semi.
Visited last week.Pleasant in Pro Shop, and though myself and a friend had only travelled 25 miles into the hinterlands, the accent had moved 250 ????
Price fair. No criticism of anything really. It is generally flat, it requires you to get it out there off the tee, and it is very fair. Uniform greens, fairways and semi rough, the sort where you can get a lob wedge under and not be afraid of a decapitation on the far side of the green. Abundant in wildlife too, pheasants galore and a weasel chasing young rabbits. Such is life !
No bar facilities open alas.
