Lovely location

With the course divided between Dorset and Wiltshire this is a wonderful setting. Always well presented with a variety of interesting holes. As with all golf courses, good placement will reward you.
Staff are very welcoming and the clubhouse food worth stopping for.

Worth a visit

All the signs of a course coming out of winter. Course overall is in relatively good order, greens still needing growth and a bit bumpy otherwise not bad at all.

Very good and continues to improve!

Wonderful setting spanning Dorset and Wiltshire. Interesting mix where 9 holes have no water, the other 9 have no bunkers, but you may not notice first time around. Club house is a little traditional, but food is always fantastic and a good range of drinks. Greens were absolutely fantastic, even towards the end of the season.

Don’t normally leave reviews, but course was incredible, £150 for a fourball on a weekend for that standard of course is very good imo, will certainly be back. Very friendly staff and course was in a great shape!

Avoid!

Course in very poor overall condition, expensive and a very poor attitude towards visitors - certainly not worth the enormous green fee, and won't even accept county card "as we are so busy, we take more money without having to give it!" - Go elswhere and have fun instead.

Lovely course on Dorset/Wiltshire border

Lovely course, not particularly long but in the summer challenging when the rough is up and the greens are running fast, fantastic countryside views looking down towards the Purbecks and Isle of Wight.

If only I lived closer!!

One of the best courses in Dorset, can't vote for Wiltshire, it is always in good condition and a pleasure to play, the atmosphere is excellent and what you expect for a Golf course setting the standard.

Excellent course a must visit Dorset/Wiltshire border course.

Great day out at a very tidy course, many different challenges as you swap from Wiltshire (without bunkers) to Dorset (with) some really great views and interesting holes, today the Greens were superb & slick which made it even tougher, but still had a really enjoyable day out.
