Excellent course in beautiful condition. The course although pretty short does have plenty of tricky holes with sand and water in abundance. I would suggest better signage of next hole locations however as it is unclear on a number of holes

Played the short academy course with my young son- his first round!Great value and an absolute gem of a course with a genuine par 5 and two challenging par 4's amongst the remaining par 3's. A highly recommended morning warm up to playing the main course later in the day or an early evening 9 hole if time is limited- and my 11 year old loved it!

I think this course is getting better and better. It took some getting used to the new layout at the start of the summer and some of the newer holes need to mature but this is a really good, fair course. Very friendly shop.

Love this course and the condition (after all the adverse weather) is testament to the hard work of the staff. Keep up the good work.

Can't rate this course/club highly enough. Without a doubt my most enjoyable round this year. In excellent condition throughout (one or two of the greens were a little wobbly but they were paced very consistently and were very well kept). There are plenty of challenging holes, enough straightforward ones to keep a high handicapper interested and plenty of par/birdie opportunities. The rough is deep and unforgiving so you have to keep on the straight and narrow - its a course that rewards the percentage player therefore. My only real gripe is that the coure if not mapped very well - there is no indication either on the card or on the boards at the tees what the diration, shape and hazards are for each hole so if you are new to the course you are playing completely 'blind' a lot of the time - not good. A real pity that because it is the only significant flaw I could see on what proved to be a really great course to play. The other oddity was that there were no yellow tees visible anywhere - we played off white instead which is not something we would normally do - but that didn't prove to be a significant issue for us. Paid £20 a head for our four ball which was very good value. And a proper cask ale in the club house (Youngs)!
