Silver Creek Golf Course is a down to earth golf course, relaxed and fairly casual, which is perfect for me. The facilities are good and wholesome food is served. The course itself is well manicured and the greens are in great condition, considering it was only opened a few weeks after the winter break when I played it. The water hazards are tricky, in particular over the par 3 8th on North course, a signature hole in my opinion. I believe the 9th green on the most recently opened West course is over water on a dog leg right fairway. A tough hole if you slice right or drive too long, either way your ball is getting wet! The West is more open as there are far fewer mature trees as result of it being most recently established. The rest of the course is well established having been built in the 1990s. Overall a nice course and worth a visit.

Good course, bit windy the day we played it. North and South courses are more mature than West. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
