Very good but very difficult, tight with little,Lea way for stray shots. Greens excellent albeit in very tough pin positions

Far too tough for your average golfer. Wherever there wasn't water there was sand. I've played plenty of tough (but fair) courses, but this is a bit of a joke really. Its apparent that grass is kept to a minimum around here because its upkeep is more costly. I didn't play well on the day, but on another course would have gotten 28-30pts I reckon. I got 21 here! The winner by a distance from our group of mid-high handicappers had 31pts. I don't think the game is about being arrow straight with accurate yardage or taking a safe mid iron off every tee but that's what you'd need to do around here to post a good score.

Poor weather conditions high wind very cold, course is difficult with many traps and deep bunkers around greens also many water features.

As we was on a 5 day 4 round holiday, the weather was terrible and little better than the previous day being very cold high winds and a very damp course. The previous storms and flood damage had left with this course from our original schedule. This course has tight fairways and many traps and big sand traps particularly around he greens.

Played this course on a rainy day in October. The resort was not complete and the club house was all but non-existant. The changing room was a caravan at the time. The course itself is ok except for some long walks between greens and tees. Once the planting between fairways has fully taken the course will be better.

Beautiful setting
From a setting viewpoint it's a beautiful course. Very difficult if you are a mid to high handicap golfer. Lots of bunkers in play both on the fairways and around the greens. Then if you miss those and stray off thd fairways the bushes or water provide yet another trap and plenty of lost golf balls. The greens havd many different layers and undulations and are difficult to read. I felt the greens were in poor condition and had been spayed with a "green dye" to make them look good.Reviewer Rating

Good course
Really enjoyed the course even after blobbing the first two holes. Quite wide fairways but still a good challenge for the lower handicapper.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.8)

Oh dear. Played this course last year in the pouring rain. Thought it was good, but wanted to play it again in fine weather. Well the weather was great, but the course was in pretty poor nick. Empty lakes - presumably they have used the water to try and maintain the course, but now that they are empty, the fairways are scorched. The greens were a nightmare to read as they had been sanded and overall it was pretty disappointing. I like the course layout and it is a fair challenge, but they need to spend a bit of money to get it back on track.

We go all the way to Spain and for the second day running, play a course in rain that was sometimes torrential! Again, we were booked under the twilight offer at 15.00 hours, but were allowed to tee off at 14.00 due to the weather. This course seemed a much better test of golf than La Torre and despite the weather, we enjoyed the challenge. Although it is built within the confines of the resort, it seemed much more open than La Torre and although it is longer (par 72) it is fair and challenging - especially in the wind with some of the water holes in play! Actually, the water holes (7, the same as La Torre) were visually disappointing as for some reason (same as La Torre) the water levels in the features were very low - which considering the rain we were playing in seemed perverse! Overall, a fine course that is recommended for any standard of golfer and one we wish we could have played again in better weather! The food in the club house is reasonably priced and highly recommended too.

This is my favourite Jack Nicklaus course in Murcia, plenty of bunkers along the fairways and around the green to ensure you need to keep the ball on the fairway. Water hazards as well. For me the 4th, 5th, 9th on the front 9, 11th 14th and 18th on the back 9 challenge your course management.

Short but tricky
This is the second time I've played this course and although I'm not a big hitter I'm not a big hitter I believe a decent score can be achieved by leaving the driver in the bag. I found the few holes I used a driver tended to find trouble in water or bunkers. This apart a good and challenging course in a nice setting.Reviewer Rating

Totally bunkered
Not a fantastic round for me as I must have found nearly every fairway bunker with my drive and managed to find a fair few green side bunkers too. And the sand was quite gritty so not easy to play the green side bunkers. In saying that it was a good test of skill (clearly mine was absent on this day) and the fairways and greens were in good condition. I would come back to see if I can play better next time. The area was nice, but not much beyond the resort by the looks. The bar ar3a a bit soulless I thought.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 17.2)
